I'm determined to write some kind of post today. (06-07-10: and so i did! although, in retrospect, it just may have been a good idea to wait a while till i had time to edit a bit. but why? really. this is how it is. little windows of time.)
N's music class on Wednesdays. (that's today. oh yeah.) A group of 3-5 yr old kids singing and running around. and as i type about it a song comes on (random) my computer "hop little bunnies" by Kathy Reid-Naiman. That's one of the songs N sings and hops to at her class.
F, N, and I were mid nap today (a nap is a rare and precious thing around here) when it was time to head out for N's class. All three of us napping at the same time=dreamy. Also I should mention that is was rainy icky miserable out. It was very tempting to just stay home. But I know it's better later on in the day if we just go. So I got everyone up and dressed and out the door in a hurry. We were only a few minutes late...
Then the waiting and pacing at the community centre. F was sleeping in the Ergo so I paced around to keep him asleep. Sat for a bit to read local papers, and a scary People magazine someone left lying around, with an article on missing children. Ugh.
Home again.
Baby F was just handed to me "Feed him." Fed him. N just came over to ask for some breast milk to put on an owie. "Heal me," she says. Breast milk is amazing. It helps heal all sorts of things. Cuts, scrapes, burns, eye and ear infections, temper tantrums, insomnia... etc, etc. Incredible and cool.
I had much more to say but now my arms are full of baby and fresh requests/demands are coming at me from all angles (members of my family) at the moment.
Bye for now.
