I'm not there.

tonight I watched this on the tiny tv in the tiny shack. I've seen it before but it felt new,/mysterious/inspiring in this setting. pausing, re-

winding the greatest songs, moments, images. playing along to some.

my daughter knocked on the door, came in, laid down in the bed, and fell asleep as the movie played loud and lovely in its sad nostalgicromanticrocknrollfolk beauty. 

and now.. just the sound of her breathing and the crickets chirping somewhere outside  this tiny cottage of the cottage.
