My camera is dying! I've gotten a lot of use out of it and i think this show may be one of its last excursions. prime shooting conditions: rain, mushy August dusk to darkness, squishy pushy crowd (Yes, let's remember, folks: "it's not Rage Against the Machine", thanks Thom! Really. There were some real jerks in the crowd. There were many great people too..) Our camera's screen with an evergrowing black splotch in the middle that now covers more than half of the screen, guessing what i might be taking a picture of, and, of course, the fact that I really was more concerned with being present in the moment at this fantastic show by one of my absolute favourite bands ... (I didn't have a camera at all the last time I saw them, five years ago- another amazing show, standing in pretty much the same spot. And I will never forget that show, even without pictures or videos of it.) Location: Thunderbird Stadium, Vancouver, BC When: Tuesday, August 19th, 2008
